Wroughton and Chiselon - Victor Godman
The Liberal Democrat candidate for Wroughton and Chiseldon is Victor Godman. Victor is 67, works at Nationwide and lives in Wroughton.
Victor's priorities for the villages include bus services, the bulldozing of the Front Garden and Coate and the upsurge in anti-social behaviour in recent times.
Victor believes Wroughton and Chiseldon deserve truly local representation. He is worried that the Conservatives that run the Borough Council want to expand southward with no consideration about the impact on our villages.
The Conservatives claimed that the regional targets placed by the Labour government forced them to plan to bulldoze Coate. But now those targets are gone the Conservative Council has a chance to stop building towards the villages, but it seems they want to build anyway.
The Conservatives have shown their true colours. Wroughton and Chiseldon needs a local councillor that looks after residents first and foremost.
Victor's interests including working at the local allotment and being a steward at the local Methodist Church.
