Today is Polling Day! Please go out and vote.

Your vote doesn't count until it's IN the ballot box!
Today, Thursday 3rd May, is Polling Day in Swindon. A third of the council is up for election, so please use your vote today and elect Liberal Democrats to bring about real change at the Borough Council.
Polling stations will be open longer than usual this year - from 7.00am to 10.00pm - to make it more convenient for you to vote.
Remember, there are three positive reasons for vote for the Swindon Lib Dems today:
- We work hard locally all year round - if you want something done, elect a Liberal Democrat to do it!
- We are fighting for positive change locally on crime and disorder and the regeneration of Swindon
- We are the only credible opposition to the War in Iraq, Climate Change, Council Tax and ID cards
The election count will be held at the Oasis Leisure Centre but there will be tight security on entrance to the building. You can see the results on the Council sponsored website http://www.myelection.co.uk/swindon/results
All the election results and political comment will be posted to this site on Friday.
Remember the polls are open until 10pm. You don't need your card to vote! Click on the link below to enter your postcode to find out where your Polling Station is.
