E-Voting Trial Starts Today!

Cllr Martin Wiltshire, candidate for Eastcott ward
As thousands of voters across Swindon can begin to vote on the Internet from 7am today, Lib Dem Councillor Martin Wiltshire urges the early voters to vote Liberal Democrat.
E-voters are joined by thousands of postal voters who can also vote from today.
Councillor Wiltshire said, "We have tried to make our website as e-friendly as possible for voters using the Internet to look into parties and candidates.
"In addition to our candidates' information, manifestos, voting information and news stories we have been the first party to adopt YouTube-style Candidate Videos. We hope this will help voters see the real candidates, who are all too often only seen on paper.
"In addition we are the only party to have submitted a photo, bio and website for all of our candidates to the official elections website, in order to give e-voters, indeed all voters, as much information as possible."
Asked for the top three reasons why voters in Swindon should choose the Liberal Democrats, Cllr Wiltshire added:
"We represent the most positive plan for town regeneration; proactive policies on local issues like anti-social behaviour and graffiti; and we stand for hard work all year round."
