Lib Dem Action on Crime and Anti-Social Behaviour

Cllr Wood at the Euclid Play Park

Life has become intolerable for some residents living around the Euclid Street Playpark. Drug dealing, vandalism, vehicle damage, damage to personal property and verbal abuse are just a few things people are having to live with.

Local residents and your Lib Dem Councillors have been working with the Police and placing pressure on the Council.

The Police are now parking CCTV vans by the park, have stopped, searched and found drugs, have warned youths the area is being targetted. Your Councillors are also pushing the Council to clear the 'den' in the playpark.

While the Police are gathering evidence to try to make arrests, your Councillors are pushing the Council to make the park safer before it is refurbished - but we need your help!

Public Meeting

We are inviting residents to a public crime forum to discuss how the situation is developing:

Wed 6th September, 6.30pm

Civic Offices on Euclid Street

Please come along and tell us your views to make a difference.

Don't leave it up to someone else - they might be leaving it up to you!
